Now this is a great sub shop. The quality of the bread and ingredients was great. The sandwich I ordered actually looked like the picture on the menu board! It was so good! Big slices of avocado and bacon. The wheat bread was soft and delicious. They have a soup and sandwich combination you could order. The soups they had to offer today sounded good. Baja chicken enchilada and roasted red pepper gouda. They had fresh baked cookies that looked tempting! They had a least six or more choices to choose from. All of them looked like were freshly baked at the store. I like the plastic cups that you can refill and take a with you. You can always reuse those at home. The employees were friendly and it was nice and open. It's located off of Indiana Ave close to IUPUI's campus. Actually Dagwood's original location was on the campus of Indiana University. The first store opened in March 1985 on the famous Kirkwood street in Bloomington! Support this local store if you're in the area. It was a great meal and a pleasant experience and that would bring me back! Thanks Dagwood's!

Great service, but over priced for what you get. For being near a college campus, quite expensive for a meal and combo. Average meal costs $8-$9 with the cheapest combo (drink and cookie) being an additional $3.
Won't go back. Not worth the price. -

First time here and I ordered a Chicago dog. It was delish. I like how the cut open the dog so the peppers and pickle could set in there. Will come again for another one. This place is a bonus for the college students that go to IUPUI. I am giving it a 4 star because I'm not completely sold on the sandwiches. They look just like your normal sandwiches that you could get anywhere. The employees were really nice as well.

There's a sub shop in my hometown of Pennsylvania that I talk about to this day, because nothing has lived up to it. While it's not the same, it's the closest/best thing to hit the spot when a good sub craving hits me. Lots of tasty looking options, but the Ultimate Turkey Sandwich did the trick for me.

Had my first visit to Dagwood's yesterday. My sandwich was good, not the best I've ever had, but I'd come again. I was a bit overwhelmed by how to order. I'm sure that gets better with time. I enjoyed the Dagwood special sauce! It's nice to have this as an option when other sandwich shops don't satisfy the craving!
